It’s been 120 years since women were granted the right to vote in Australian federal elections. Up until now, it's been commonly accepted that women's issues don't influence election outcomes, but that idea was turned on its head in 2022, when a number independent female candidates unseated male incumbents in some of the most wealthy electorates in the country. This poster is a playful response to the fact that suddenly “women’s issues” are front and centre of political and social discussions.

The series of three posters are set in the typeface Bayard, designed by Tré Seals of Vocal Type. Bayard’s creation was inspired by signs from the American 1963 March On Washington For Jobs and Freedom.
